Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup macaroni
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- paprika
- pepper
- cayenne
Instructions

Using a two-quart saucepan, bring
salt edwater to a boil. -
Stir in the
macaroni and return thewater to a boil. -
Stirring occasionally, continue boiling for four minutes.

Then lower the heat to medium and continue to boil the
macaroni , with frequent stirring untilmacaroni is mostly dry. (7+ minutes) Lower the heat and stir more as thewater absorbs/evaporates to prevent sticking and crunchymacaroni . -
Add the remainder of the ingredients, stirring well until the cheese is melted.

If you wish to brown the top, put the mixture in a casserole and heat in the oven till attractively browned.
