Roasted Garlic smached potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 lb p-d-t rouges, avec pelure, en morceaux
  • 1 feuille de laurier
  • 1/4 cup lait, ou creme a cafe
  • 2 Tbsp beurre
  • poivre
  • garlic, roasted

Instructions

Buy or make roasted garlic.

Place potatoes and bay leaf in large saucepan; add salted water to cover. Boil over medium heat 15-20' until potatoes are tender. Remove and discard bay leaf. Drain water. Return to heat, add milk and the butter and heat.

Sitr in chopped or mached roasted garlic cloves. Mash potatoes and garlic together, adding more mild if the potatoes seem a little dry, leaving the potatoes just a little chunky. Add salt and pepper.

Roasted Garlic: individual cloves: 400 F, 15-25' with a little olive oil.
