Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp beurre
  • 1 oignon, hache
  • 1 lb citrouille, cubed
  • 2 1/2 cup bouillon de poule
  • 1/8 tsp giroffle, en poudre
  • 1/2 tsp sucre
  • few drops tabasco
  • 1 tsp citron, jus
  • creme, optional

Instructions

Melt butter and fry onion 2-3 minutes. Add pumpkin, broth, cloves, sugar, salt and Tabasco. Cook until the pumpkin in quite soft. Puree in blender. Add lemon juice. Reheat. Stir in cream if desired.
