Fish With Olive Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp huile d'olive
  • 1 petit oignon, hache
  • 1/2 can pelati
  • 1 tsp sucre
  • clou de girofle, en poudre
  • 1 lb filet de poisson
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • 1 tsp capres

Instructions

Heat olive oil. Add onion, saute until soft. Add tomatoes, sugar and cloves. Simmer uncovered until thick ( ca. 15'). Preheat oven at 500 F. Put baking pan into it to preheat. Remove. Put 2 Tbsp oil into it. Put fish in, turn to coat with oil. Fit all fish in single layer. Bake uncovered, until fish is brown and flakes. (10' - 1"). When done, transfer fish to warm platter, keep warm. Pour fish juice into sauce. Remove from heat. Stir in olives and capers. Spoon over fish. Garnish with parsley.
