Country Grain Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup eau
- 1/2 cup lait
- 3 tbsp sucre brun, packed
- 2 tbsp shortening
- 1 cup farine complete
- 2 cup farine
- 1/4 cup cracked wheat
- 1/4 cup 7 grain cereal
- 2 tbsp flax seed
- 2 tbsp oat bran
- 2 tbsp germe de ble
- 2 tsp levure, pour machine
Instructions
Form into a large oval with a high, rounded top. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet; cover and let rise, covered for 30-45'. Bake at 375 F for 35- 45' or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Option: with a sharp knife, gently cut 3 diagonal slashes 1/2" deep on top of the risen loaf.
